Big week. A stuffed dog was officially cleared of all suspicion. The ducks joined my patrol. And a new resident arrived last Sunday. His name is Vincent van Gogh Kitty. He belly-flopped into the donut bed (and kinda missed 😹).

🦆 Hatch Watch: IMMINENT
Two nests. Two mamas. Approximately two dozen eggs. Mama #1 has been in her nest since March 10th – through a snowstorm, a false alarm, and a hiss. Hatching is estimated between April 13th and April 19th. It could be any day now. I am standing by at a respectful distance. 🥚🐾
💕 The Luna Files: Carlos
A stuffed Rottweiler appeared in the home. It has a heartbeat. It has a name. It is named after one of Luna's closest friends in Florida – a real Rottweiler that looked more like a stuffed bear She left him behind when we moved. She was sad. My humans noticed. Now, stuffed Carlos currently resides in Luna's bed. She sleeps more soundly with him present. Case closed. 💕🐾
🎨 New Resident: Vincent van Gogh Kitty
There is a new resident in the home. His name is Vincent van Gogh Kitty. He goes by Vinnie. He arrived on April 12th. He spent the first day in a carrier. He hissed at my humans. He hissed at me once when I hissed at him for hissing at my human – this was a jurisdictional misunderstanding and has since been resolved. He has also belly-flopped into the donut bed on night three. I have no further comment at this time. 😹🎨
